Sustainable Engineered Systems (SES) Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering
Our Sustainable Engineered Systems (SES) Master of Science (MS) in Civil and Environmental Engineering is available exclusively in a hybrid online/on-campus format.
The hybrid SES MS in CEE is a terminal degree program for those who want to gain advanced knowledge of the sustainability of civil and environmental engineering systems and data science along with a specialization in a discipline of civil and environmental engineering.
Our hybrid MS in CEE is intended for individuals who want to pursue a career in industry or a professional degree such as business or law.
The hybrid SES MS in CEE is based on the completion of lecture courses focused on engineered systems and data science in addition to lecture courses in a specialization in a CEE discipline of structural and material systems, sustainable construction systems, environmental engineering systems, or atmospheric and energy systems. No thesis is required. No research is required. Because it is a terminal MS degree, it is not a prerequisite for nor does it lead to admission to the department’s PhD program.
