Professor Jain and his students, Alex Nutkiewicz and Zheng Yang, were selected for a 2017 Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Applied Energy (ICAE) in Hong Kong for their work on "Data-driven Urban Energy Simulation (DUE-S): Integrating machine learning into an urban building energy simulation workflow".
