Hello!

My name is Eli and I’m a junior from Humboldt County, CA studying Environmental Systems Engineering on the Urban track!

I’ve always been passionate about environmental issues, and since coming to Stanford have gotten really into energy and green building. I have interests in both engineering and policy, and would like to work in a number of capacities throughout my life to advance environmental sustainability!

At Stanford, I have been a part of a number of environmental organizations from Stanford Students Environmental Consulting, to Green Living Council, to Students for a Sustainable Stanford. I have worked in solar installation and I spent this past summer working with an energy efficiency consulting startup to help develop their auditing platform, which was a lot of fun!

In my free time, I love exploring new places, going to the ocean, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends!

If you were like me and are not sure about which major to choose whether that be ESE, Atmosphere/Energy Engineering, Earth Systems, or whatever, or just have questions about the major, feel free to come talk with me!
