Professor Anne Kiremidjian

CEE is pleased to announce that Anne Kiremidjian is this year’s winner of the Eugene L. Grant award. This award recognizes dedication and excellence in undergraduate teaching by a professor in our department, and Prof. Kiremidjian was presented with the award at our Commencement ceremony in June. She was selected based on voting by the undergraduate students in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Professor Eugene L. Grant served as chair of Stanford's Civil Engineering Department from 1947 to 1956, and was co-founder, along with the late W. Grant Ireson, of Stanford's Industrial Engineering Department, now known as Management Science & Engineering. Following Professor Grant's retirement, a group of Stanford alumni worked with donors to establish the annual Eugene L. Grant Award for Excellence in Teaching.
