Ph.D. Candidate Hesam Hemledari has received the Best Student Paper at the IISE Annual Conference 2021 for his work with Martin Fischer at the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE).
In this paper, Hemledari argues that the integrated use of robotic reality capture and blockchain-enabled smart contracts is key to reliable payment automation in the construction and engineering industry. This work has been generously supported by industry partners at CIFE.
