Noh and Liu Receive ASME SHM/NDE 2020 Best Journal Paper Runner-up Award

Diagnosis algorithms for indirect structural health monitoring of a bridge model via dimensionality reduction

Professor Haeyoung Noh and Ph.D. candidate, Jingxiao Liu, received the ASME SHM/NDE 2020 Best Journal Paper Runner-up Award for "Diagnosis algorithms for indirect structural health monitoring of a bridge model via dimensionality reduction" (Jingxiao Liu, Siheng Chen, Mario Bergés, Jacobo Bielak, James Garrett, Jelena Kovačević & Hae Young Noh (2020). Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 136, 106454).

The award is selected among all peer-reviewed journal papers published in 2020 nominated from the field of Structural Health Monitoring and Nondestructive Evaluation. It was announced at the 2021 SHM/NDE technical committee meeting, and the award ceremony will be held at the ASME SMASIS conference banquet in September.
