John Barton, director of CEE's Architectural Design Program, is one of the founding members and president of the board of the Community Working Group in Palo Alto.  A news article on the myriad of ways this group has been assisting the area’s homeless population with housing and resources recently appeared in Palo Alto Online: https://paloaltoonline.atavist.com/housing-for-good.

John Barton is quoted in the article as saying “There’s no one ‘homeless person’ typology. They come with talents and skills and aspirations, and they are uniquely different -- and that makes them a challenge to serve.”
