CIFE has just been recognized by the City of San Jose for its work in combatting wage theft in the construction industry. Three PhD students of Martin Fischer, Forest Peterson, Anthony Kinslow and Alissa Cooperman, volunteered their time in collaboration with the Santa Clara Wage Theft Coalition, led by Ruth Silver Taube from the School of Law at Santa Clara University.
