Industrial Affiliates Programs

Main content start

Stanford encourages close collaboration with companies and welcomes industry to participate in our research. Civil and Environmental Engineering houses and works with several long-standing industrial affiliates programs that facilitate knowledge and technology transfer between industry and academia.

Membership in an affiliates program provides a mechanism for multiple faculty and multiple companies to discuss and explore broad research topics in a pre-competitive environment. Corporate members benefit from attending annual meetings and research symposia, receiving topical reports and publications, and meeting with researchers. Member companies typically have opportunities to recruit students at targeted events.

For more information about joining, visit the affiliate program pages below or contact: cee-affiliates@stanford.edu
